Community and Marina Reference Group Meetings

Update: A summary report of both meetings is now available here. It provides background and introduction to the meetings, next steps in the process and a summary of each meeting.  Detailed attachments including the presentations, meeting participants and participant submissions are also provided.

At the request of the local councillor, CLC and its consultation team from the Canadian Urban Institute are reconvening the Community Reference Group for 1 Port Street to discuss some issues and concerns arising from the Master Plan Document which was submitted to the City of Mississauga in April 2013. There have also been some issues raised about the marina and marina uses in the Master Plan Document. To discuss these, CLC is also convening a group of marina stakeholders to meet together as a Marina Reference Group.

Both meetings will provide an opportunity for the reference groups to discuss CLC’s proposed policies to amend the Local Area Plan (LAP) for 1 Port Street and how the proposed policies will address these concerns. The local City Councillor and City staff will be present.
